Project objective:
The main goal of the project is to ensure a long-term stability and career development of an excellent team of junior scientists at the IPNP and ITP working at the frontier of the contemporary research at the interface of particle and nuclear physics, cosmology and astrophysics. This goal requires a steady inflow of Ph.D. students joining the ranks of the team of juniors and attraction of highly motivated foreign postdocs bringing new expertise. An internationally renowned team of senior researchers with outstanding track records guides the junior researchers to ensure an intensive transfer of knowledge within the team and guarantee the prominence and long-term visibility in the global scientific community. The project objectives range from the topics related to the first moments of the very existence of the Universe and its different forms of energy, local geometry and global properties, to the depths of modern theoretical description of key underlying structures and processes.
