Inner detector
Introduction
Our lab takes part in the preparation and construction of the SCT
(Semiconductor Tracker) of the ATLAS
Inner
Detector.
Silicon strip
detectors are used to detect the passage of particles from high energy
proton collisions at the centre of the ATLAS detector. These detectors
together with hybrids
and readout
chips are assembled into a module.
Activities
(these items currently contain many links to CERN and other institutes,
but there is an intention to include here more Prague-specific contents)
